To be most successful in reaching our target audience, we decided to launch our campaign through the school system. We will target middle and high school adolescents in hopes of making them aware about the extent of editing that images go through.

We will talk to young adults, encouraging an involved sharing of stories and ideas about what real beauty means to them. How real are the images in the media? Are they attainable? Why do advertisers portray such materialized, unreal standards of beauty? How do these images make us feel?

We agree that the best way to make a difference and encourage positive self-esteem and body images is to hold face-to-face communication seminars. Fostering a positive, participatory group environment will be key to the success of our campaign. Not only will young girls learn that images in the media are unachievable and false representations of real women, but in sharing their own stories, the girls will become a support system for one another.
